The answer to the previous question is: Both of those numbers correspond to ports that are used in encrypted TCP traffic communication on the internet.  Answers similar in concept to this were also accepted.

This time, here is the question:
What is the typical logical construct that is biconditionally equivalent to ~(AvB)?

As always, tell a nerd working behind the counter the correct answer and receive a free 450mL beverage.

If only my intelligent vehicle had one more cup holder

coffeecupinverterUntil now I had to put my power inverter on the floor of my car.  Now, thanks to brilliance, I can put the above device in my cup holder and have two AC power outlets plus a USB charger available.  Now I just have to choose between that second cup of coffee and the power inverter.

Available here.

The best answer to last week’s question is hyperkalemia (high potassium).  It could be a heart attack, but with only one lead given, the best answer would have been high potassium.

This week’s question:

What is the (nerdy) correlation of the following two numbers: 22 443

As usual, tell a nerd working behind the counter the correct answer and receive a free 450mL beverage.

This week’s question:  My doctor showed me this…what is wrong with me?

If you’re upset at the apparent non-nerdiness of last week’s question, feel free to calculate the amount of fiber in our smoothies out to 17 significant figures.  In hindsight, I should have probably asked how many grams of fiber a smoothie has.  Apologies.  The answer to the previous question is the Ray Palmer with 6.150 grams of fiber.

This week’s question is much nerdier:

How many characters of data did it take to render the following image.

Dicey

May 28th, 2009

If you’re into games with dice (and who isn’t?), you will probably shake your head in amazement as much as I did at this dice roll generator.

Last week’s answer: perfectcoffee (if you want more details, read here).

This week’s question is unusually nutritious:
Which of our smoothies has the most fiber?
