Here’s today’s hand’s on challenge…

  1. Go to one of our locations
  2. Have a nerd working behind the counter confirm that the rubiks cube is scrambled
  3. Using whatever resources you have available, other than moving stickers on or disassembling the cube, solve it in less than three minutes
  4. Profit!*

Here’s today’s question…

I received a USB credit-card-looking device in the mail, plugged it into my mac (in my test environment of course) and it opened up a web browser and sent me to a promotion site. The question is, by what means did it do this (and how could it do it consistently on multiple platforms with different web browsers)? I’m looking for a general answer of the functionality, not specific instructions.

As always, tell a nerd working behind the counter the correct answer and receive a free 450mL beverage.

Please solve the following for x, y and z:

4x + 4z = 23 + y
3y – 16z – 2x = 1
x + y = -2z + 32

4x + 4z = 23 + y
3y – 16z – 2x = 1
x + y = -2z + 32

As always, tell a nerd working behind the counter the correct answer and receive a free 450mL beverage.
